We are in search of a proactive Laboratory Collection Specialist to become a part of our Field Operations team in Everett, WA. In this capacity, you will be responsible for conducting specimen collections for individuals mandated to undergo drug testing as part of their legal or therapeutic obligations. Our specialists are tasked with gathering urine, oral fluid (saliva), or hair samples in strict accordance with established protocols.

Note: This position necessitates the observation of Male participants and requires a Male Laboratory Collection Specialist. If you do not meet this criterion but are interested in exploring other roles, please refer to our Careers page.

Work Schedule : 20 hours per week. Saturday and Sunday from 7am to 12pm. Monday to Friday hours may vary.

Compensation:

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, document, organize, process, and dispatch urine, oral, and/or hair specimens to the laboratory
  • Ensure the collection site is well-organized and maintained
  • Complete requisitions, chain of custody documentation, and related paperwork
  • Gather and scan insurance information, as necessary
  • Order supplies (requisition forms, gloves, collection materials, etc.) and manage inventory to guarantee availability of collection resources
  • Relay client inquiries to the Manager and/or Client Services team
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED, required
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer or patient-facing roles required
  • Experience in healthcare, criminal justice, or a related dynamic field preferred
  • Capability to conduct observed collections and gather biological specimens, required
  • Ability to work independently without on-site supervision, required
  • Strong attention to detail along with excellent verbal and written communication skills, required
  • Competence in managing tight deadlines and de-escalating communications in potentially stressful situations without on-site supervision
  • Basic computer proficiency, required
  • Light to moderate physical exertion (lifting/carrying up to 25 lbs.) and ability to sit/stand for extended periods, required
  • Willingness to wear scrubs and protective gear (gloves), required
