Job Summary

The Director of Infrastructure and Operations will play a critical role in bolstering our breakthrough technology with the infrastructure of process and policies critical to their sustained success. This position reports to the CEO and is responsible for maintaining and improving physical facilities, employee policies and procedures, and compliance posture with FAR, DFARS, state and local regulations, and contracts.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and improve physical facilities, including build-outs, security, leases, and other related tasks.
Develop, maintain, and strengthen an effective export compliance program.
Administer Personnel Security as Facility Security Officer (DoD FSO).
Manage and optimize insurance coverages.
Manage consultants/contractors used for financial, tax, and legal affairs.
Contribute to vendor selection and vendor relationships to ensure reliable acquisition of subcomponents for our low-rate manufacturing.

Our client is a small, growing company developing and manufacturing advanced airborne 3D lidar mapping systems and associated software required to produce point cloud data products. Customers include commercial and government organizations for both civilian and defense/security applications.
