About the Role

We are seeking an ambitious and innovative Electrical Engineer to join our team at Interstates. As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our electrical systems. Your expertise will be essential in designing and implementing electrical systems that meet the highest standards of safety and performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement electrical systems that meet safety and performance standards
  • Conduct site visits to record and analyze electrical system components
  • Organize data from site visits to create analysis reports
  • Propose electrical design options to mitigate risks
  • Use SKM software to perform Arc Flash, Coordination, and Short Circuit analysis
  • Write reports to communicate electrical hazards, precautionary measures, and remediation recommendations

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • B.S. degree from a 4-year ABET-accredited engineering program
  • 1-3 years of experience in electrical engineering or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
