Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct and indirect total nursing care to assigned patients, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Coordinate and integrate patient care based on the nursing process, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.
  • Supervise and direct assigned personnel, promoting a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, incorporating evidence-based practices and patient preferences.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care, including medication management, wound care, and pain management.
  • Monitor and report patient progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida.
  • BLS certification.
  • Preferred: BSN, EKG certification, ACLS and PALS certification.
