Position Overview:
Join our dedicated team at Physicians Regional - Pine Ridge, where we prioritize patient care and professional development. We offer a competitive compensation package that includes up to $20,000 in student loan repayment and tuition reimbursement options.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate the health status of assigned patients, developing and implementing comprehensive nursing care plans.
- Support physicians during medical examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
- Conduct various diagnostic tests and administer medications in accordance with nursing protocols.
- Encourage patient autonomy by setting care objectives and educating patients and their families about health conditions, medication regimens, and self-management techniques.
- Utilize clinical expertise and critical thinking to achieve patient care goals.
- Provide care for patients in both general medical and telemetry units.
- Available for night shifts, working three 12-hour shifts with flexible scheduling.
Qualifications:
- Valid Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
- 0-2 years of nursing experience in a clinical setting.
