Hospitalist Physician Assistant/ Nurse Practitioner

Adfinitas Health seeks a highly skilled Physician Assistant or Acute Care Certified Nurse Practitioner to join our hospitalist team in Bel Air, MD.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a dedicated and compassionate healthcare professional to provide high-quality patient care in the hospital setting. As a member of our hospitalist team, you will work closely with physicians and other advanced practice providers to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide inpatient internal medicine care, including admitting patients, performing physical exams, ordering tests, and diagnosing.
- Participate in hospital rounds and plan for patient discharge.
- Follow established policies for maintenance and signing of medical records.
- Contribute to the achievement of department goals and adhere to policies, procedures, and quality and safety standards.
- Submit accurate and timely charges for all professional services performed.
- Graduate of an accredited Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program.
- Active state license, American Heart Association CPR Certification, DEA License, and state Controlled Substance Registration.
- Strong inpatient skill set.
- Quality-focused team player.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to function effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
