Job Summary:

IPEX Group of Companies is seeking a reliable and motivated Forklift Operator to join our team in our Distribution Centre. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for accurately and quickly servicing a fast-paced client base while maintaining the highest quality and safety standards in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate forklift equipment effectively and safely, maintaining equipment and reporting malfunctions.
  • Perform duties within the RF processes in place.
  • Pick, stack, wrap, and stage outbound freight to ensure warehouse goals are met.
  • Implement work in the prescribed sequence to meet deliver-by-date requirements.
  • Work proficiently to meet Productivity, Quality, and Safety targets.
  • Load and unload trucks.
  • Maintain strict housekeeping standards in accordance with 5S protocols.
  • Report unsafe work conditions or environments in a timely manner.
  • Contribute to the success of the team.

Requirements:

  • Completion of a high-school diploma.
  • Able to safely operate a reach forklift (an asset).
  • Meet daily timelines and work in an environment with changing assignments and priorities.
  • Able to read and write in English.
  • Previous experience working in a warehouse (an asset).
  • Ability to work well as a team and be self-motivated and independent at times.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly.

  • Ability to stay on your feet for long periods at a time.
  • Willingness to work in varying working conditions.
