Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist-Cardiovascular to join our team at UnityPoint Health. As a Cardiovascular Imaging Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Cardiac Cath Lab team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patient needs and provide appropriate teaching and referrals to ensure continuity of care.
  • Collaborate with physicians to develop individual plans of care using a patient-centered approach.
  • Promptly complete documentation to maintain accurate legal records of patient care.
  • Utilize a holistic approach to patient care, considering biopsychosocial, spiritual, educational, safety, and related criteria.
  • Continuously develop and maintain professional skills and knowledge to enhance Cardiovascular Tech practice.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited radiologic science program recognized by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • One-two years of Radiology experience in a hospital environment preferred.
  • Holds Permit-to-Practice radiology in the state of Iowa.
  • Certified and holds current registration with the A.R.R.T. as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.
