We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Orthodontic Assistant to join our team at Pine Dentistry & Braces, a Benevis company. As a key member of our dental care team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our mission to create happy, healthy smiles.
Responsibilities:- Patient Care: Provide quality and compassionate care to every patient, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout their treatment.
- Education and Support: Guide parents and patients through our processes before treatment, educate patients on oral hygiene instruction, and provide postoperative instruction.
- Operational Readiness: Prepare tray set-ups for dental procedures, mix amalgam, cement, pulp paste, and prepare impression materials, sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment, and clean chairs and rooms.
- Documentation: Document patient information, treatment plans, and procedures in patient charts, and pour, trim, and polish impression casts.
- Certification: Orthodontic or Dental Assistant Certification (State dependent)
- Experience: Preferred at least 1 year of experience in Orthodontic Assisting
- Skills: High focus on customer service and satisfaction, compassion, integrity, dependability, attention to detail, and ability to organize work and engage in a variety of tasks simultaneously.
