About the Role:

CMU Medical Education Partners is seeking a highly qualified Geriatric Psychiatrist to join our academic faculty as an Assistant/Associate Professor. The ideal candidate will be a fellowship-trained inpatient Geriatric Psychiatrist with a strong passion for teaching, research, and patient care.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Provide direct inpatient care and leadership of a multi-disciplinary team at an inpatient site
* Collaborate with psychiatry residents, internal medicine, and family medicine residents, medical students, social workers, nurses, and recreation therapists
* Administration of a professional educational environment and participation in scholarly activity, faculty development, patient safety, and quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

* MD or equivalent degree
* State of Michigan licensed or eligible
* Board certified/Board eligible in Geriatric Psychiatry through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
