Key Responsibilities- Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment
- Test and certify backflow assemblies
- Remove blockages from drain lines and sewers
- Adjust, repair, or replace leaky joints, faucets, and other outlets
- Install and repair domestic, industrial, and commercial hot water heaters, hot water storage tanks, and plumbing fixtures
- Operate, clean, and maintain required tools and special equipment
- Perform scheduled maintenance on plumbing systems and fixtures
- Apply all code requirements during installations, repairs, and maintenance
- Minimum of 5 years of plumbing experience
- Must meet all North Carolina licensing requirements at a Master's or Journeyman's level Plumber or be willing to successfully enroll in an accredited apprenticeship program
- Backflow Assembly Tester (BAT) certificate for the state of North Carolina required
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties
