Job Summary

Maintain a sterile environment in the clean room by garbing, cleaning the room, and adhering to clean room procedures that align with facilities practices or guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Practice efficient use of cleaning techniques, solutions preparation, equipment operation, and tool maintenance.
  • Perform decontamination cleaning and project assignments within the area of responsibility or as directed by supervisor with high consistency, accuracy, and reliability.
  • Maintain documentation on all activities and frequent quality control testing to verify the efficiency of the work performed.
  • Monitor and maintain the stock of cleanroom garments and cleaning materials when applicable.
  • Identify and manage contamination sources within the cleanroom environment, including materials and personnel.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1-2 years of housekeeping or cleaning service experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read and comprehend Standard Operating Procedure Documents (SOPs).
Work Environment
  • Exposure to chemicals on a constant basis requiring special clothing and/or safety equipment.
