The HCA Nurse Residency Program is designed to give you the tools necessary to succeed in todays hospital environment. This paid program includes advanced clinical training, monthly educational sessions, preceptorship training, and measurement and evaluation of skills through hands-on simulations. You will be surrounded by a supportive community of nurse educators, experienced nurses, and fellow residents that promote learning, clinical application, and socialization.
As an RN Resident, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively on an evidence-based practice project and provide individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care to patients using established nursing models such as Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage. You will also serve as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers to support an unparalleled patient experience.
Our Critical Care departments offer a variety of opportunities for growth and development, including working on ICUs, Neuro ICU, CVICU, PCU, Step Down, Neuro Step Down, Cardiac Step Down, and Cardiac Care units. We also offer a sign on bonus for eligible candidates for FT Night Shift only on Cardiac & Progressive Care/Step Down Units, and a relocation bonus of $5,000 for those more than 50 miles from our hospitals.
