We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at Adventist HealthCare. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing CT examinations in accordance with established protocols, demonstrating proficiency in operating CT-scanner and ancillary equipment, and understanding principles and dangers involved in the administration of oral and intravenous contrast.
Key Responsibilities- Perform CT examinations in accordance with established protocols
- Demonstrate proficiency in operating CT-scanner and ancillary equipment
- Understand principles and dangers involved in the administration of oral and intravenous contrast
- Properly identify patients, review orders, and select scanning protocols to maximize quality and safe patient care
- Perform diagnostic x-rays in accordance with established protocol, including portable exams when indicated
- Graduate of an AMA/JRCERT-accredited school of radiography
- ARRT certification (RT) or ARRT CT advanced certification (CT)
- Active Maryland license required
- Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Every Friday and Saturday night shift, 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., and every Sunday evening, 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
