Job Summary

ChenMed is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Acupuncturist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality acupuncture services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with various health conditions, including addiction, stroke rehabilitation, musculoskeletal issues, women's health, stress management, and digestive issues.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including discussing potential drug-herb interactions and providing education on lifestyle changes, exercises, and stretches specific to each condition.
  • Provide manual therapy, including TUI NA-Chinese Remedial Massage, and incorporate other holistic approaches as needed.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to perform clinical assessments and develop treatment plans.
  • Work closely with mental health therapists, psychiatrists, psychologists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Organize community education workshops and provide field-related tips for the facility newsletter and community blog.
  • Train new Acupuncturists and conduct professional and ethical client relationships.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in a related field.
  • Certifications from the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
  • Board certification in specialty.
  • Licensed in the state of practice.
