Job Summary

Under the general supervision of the school site principal, the Custodial Assistant will perform custodial duties such as cleaning classrooms, cafeterias, gymnasiums, offices, and bathrooms. The successful candidate will also maintain custodial equipment and assist in keeping the assigned school or District site and grounds clean and in orderly condition.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain classrooms, cafeterias, gymnasiums, offices, and bathrooms
  • Maintain custodial equipment and perform routine maintenance tasks
  • Assist in keeping the assigned school or District site and grounds clean and in orderly condition
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous custodial experience preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
