Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Flight Operations Specialist to provide comprehensive support within the AFVP Aviation Group product range. This pivotal role involves delivering technical assistance for our diverse software solutions. Candidates should possess experience in dispatch, aviation operations, or hold a private pilot's license. You will be part of our technical support team, collaborating with our global flight operations support and development teams to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver North American (NAM) focused flight planning assistance with a strong technical support orientation, addressing inquiries for various aircraft types, whether IFR or VFR, rotary or fixed wing.
  • Communicate product functionalities and report issues specifically related to flight planning, filing, and routing requests using our agile toolset.
  • Utilize aviation-specific technical expertise to troubleshoot and provide software support.
  • Collaborate with development teams to investigate and resolve support requests within our applications and online tools.
  • Engage with stakeholders across multiple business units in a corporate environment.
  • Take responsibility for reported incidents and issues, maintaining clear communication and ensuring resolutions related to the APG, RocketRoute, and Seattle Avionics product lines.
  • Conduct initial assessments and prioritize reported concerns.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Ability to engage with individuals at all levels within the aviation sector.
  • A minimum of five years of aviation experience, with a professional qualification, Dispatch or Private Pilot's License, or equivalent practical knowledge.
  • At least two to three years of experience in a technical service desk or systems support role.
  • Proficient in Office 365, including spreadsheets, with strong general IT skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities and experience working across diverse cultures.
  • A strong aptitude for proactive analysis and problem-solving.
  • A customer-centric approach.
