We are seeking a skilled Manual Test Engineer to join our team at Power3 Solutions and Partnering Companies. As a Manual Test Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform system testing of components, modules, and integration testing through system and end-to-end evaluation.
- Develop and implement test procedures and test reports, and support the software configuration management process.
- Collaborate with software developers to create formal test procedures and participate in formal test events.
- Work with physical equipment in a test lab environment and utilize basic system administration skills.
- Collect, analyze, and present test results verbally and report test results in writing.
- Document test results for corrective actions, reporting, and audits.
- Experience testing through a full system development life cycle, including implementing test plans, test cases, and test processes.
- Experience participating in formal test events, such as Acceptance Test, User Acceptance Test, Software Final Release Test, Maintenance Release Test, etc.
- Experience collaborating with software developers to create formal test procedures.
- Experience working with physical equipment in a test lab environment.
- Experience collecting, analyzing, presenting test results verbally and reporting test results in writing.
- Experience utilizing elevated privileges to setup and execute manual test procedures.
- Experience documenting test results for corrective actions, reporting, and audits.
- Experience testing systems from existing system and functional specification.
- Experience working in an agile team environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to successfully communicate with both management and technical personnel.
- Bachelor's degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management, or a related discipline, and at least 8 years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience with Behavior Driven Development (BDD) and Test Driven Development (TDD).
- Experience using automated test tools.
- Experience with programming and scripting languages, such as Java, shell, Python, etc.
- SAFe Agilist or DevOps certification.
