Piedmont HealthCare is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Lung Disease Registered Nurse to serve as the clinical liaison for our Advanced Lung Disease Program in the ambulatory setting.
Key Responsibilities- Triaging and Clinical Assessment: Manage incoming triage calls, perform clinical assessments, and manage symptoms and side effects of therapy.
- Nursing Support and Education: Provide compassionate and focused nursing support to patients, caregivers, and family members. Educate and provide educational materials to patients and caregivers.
- Clinical Decision-Making: Use clinical reasoning based on established evidence-based policies, procedures, and guidelines for decision-making.
- Coordination and Scheduling: Assist with new patient appointments, coordinate outgoing referrals, and schedule lab testing and medication titration.
- Representative and Liaison: Represent Piedmont HealthCare to national nonprofit organizations and accrediting bodies, participate on relevant committees, and attend national meetings and conferences.
- Education: Successful completion of an accredited registered nurse program or bachelors degree in nursing.
- Licensure: State of Georgia Licensure as a registered nurse required.
