Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at AnthroMed Education. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in supporting students with communication disorders in our Downriver schools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate students' speech-language abilities and develop treatment plans to address their needs.
  • Provide high-quality direct speech-language therapy services to students, adhering to their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Conduct assessments, analyze results, and develop reports to identify strengths and areas of concern in speech, voice, fluency, pragmatics, language, and oral motor skills.
  • Stay current with professional literature, evidence-based research, and continuing education to inform practice decisions.
  • Collaborate with instructional staff to develop treatment plans that are strength-based and child-centered.
  • Participate in IEP conferences, team meetings, and problem-solving meetings to ensure evaluations, intervention plans, and service delivery align with school, state, and federal guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Valid Michigan license through the Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA) department.
  • Prior school experience is preferred.
