ESSENTIAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must undergo a security evaluation and fulfill eligibility criteria for access to classified materials to secure and maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance.
  • Capability to lift equipment exceeding thirty pounds (30 lbs) and pass health assessments as mandated by U.S. Navy Safety Programs Afloat is essential.
  • Proficient in utilizing various testing apparatus such as: Time Domain Reflectometers; Spectrum and Vector Network Analyzers; Signal Generators; Frequency Counters; Oscilloscopes; and Digital Multi-meters.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities; candidates with a solid maintenance background, familiarity with Unix/Linux systems troubleshooting, low-level systems administration experience, or Radio Frequency (RF) testing will be considered if they demonstrate the capacity to learn the aforementioned responsibilities.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in Navy Shipboard Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) system maintenance, or equivalent experience is mandatory. Relevant shipboard systems may encompass: Ship's Signal Exploitation Equipment (SSEE) Increment E/F; Cooperative Outboard Logistics Upgrade (COBLU); COMBAT Direction Finding (CDF); Classic Troll; Integrated Submarine Communications Receiving System (ISCRS); and Cryptologic Carry-On Program (CCOP) systems including; Advanced Cryptologic Carry-On Exploitation Equipment (ACCES); Hostile Forces Integrated Targeting Service (HITS), STINGRAY, DRT, BLUESTREAM, etc.

PREFERRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Completion of U.S. Navy CTM "A" and CTM "C" Schools is advantageous but not obligatory if the candidate possesses relevant/documented On the Job Training (OJT) experience.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: This role necessitates U.S. citizenship and a U.S. government security clearance at the Top Secret level with SCI eligibility.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Delivers system-level technical support for the U.S. Navy's Ship's Signal Exploitation Equipment (SSEE) initiatives.
  • Diagnoses, identifies, recommends solutions, and executes corrective measures on SSEE Systems.
  • Provides remote troubleshooting and help desk support through various communication channels.
  • Monitors Casualty Reports (CASREPs) and Distance Support Actions.
  • Conducts Technical Feedback Report (TFBR) assessments for 3M Preventive Maintenance.
  • Performs system-level testing to accurately assess operational readiness.
  • Reviews Technical Manuals (TM) and procedures for technical precision and validity.
  • Evaluates technical training materials for accuracy and relevance.
  • Assesses System and Installation Drawings for technical correctness.
  • Facilitates formal training sessions for user Technicians in both shipboard and classroom settings.
