Join Our Team as an Industrial Refrigeration Technician

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Refrigeration Technician to join our team at Gordon Food Service. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our ammonia refrigeration systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, monitor, and maintain all ammonia refrigeration systems
  • Operate and maintain all facility heating and air conditioning systems
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure and ensure system efficiency
  • Collaborate with other maintenance teams to ensure seamless operations

  • A competitive salary based on experience
  • A $2.85 - $4.50 per hour performance incentive
  • An annual $500 tool allowance and $150 boot allowance

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Technical or Refrigeration Engineers Technician Association (RETA) certification preferred
  • HAZMAT certification preferred
  • Two years previous operating anhydrous ammonia systems or HVAC/R experience required
