Vanguard Renewables is a leading developer and operator of anaerobic digesters in the United States. We are seeking a skilled Biogas Technician to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain anaerobic digesters, gas conditioning skids, and associated equipment.
• Perform general mechanical duties, including valve replacement, pipe repairs, and mixer motor replacement.
• Assist outside contractors with maintenance activities, such as media change-outs and large equipment overhauls.
• Monitor gas production and capture operational parameters, including fluid temps, pressures, and gas concentrations.
• Participate in preventative maintenance activities and respond to unsatisfactory trends.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicle.
• Ability to lift, move, and/or push objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Relevant maintenance and operating experience in an industrial or gas processing environment.
• Operational experience may be supplemented with military experience or training in a related field.

Working Conditions

Work locations are industrial, indoor, and outdoor. Limited exposure to hazardous materials and/or toxic fumes will require the use of approved personal protective equipment.
