We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Med Surg Post Surgical team at WellStar Health System. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Perform the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide individualized patient care.
- Provide relationship-based patient-centered care that adapts to the unique needs and characteristics of each patient.
- Partner with patients and their families to set and achieve patient goals, using effective communication and education strategies.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and promote a respectful and inclusive clinical environment.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of protocols and procedures to improve patient outcomes.
- Associate's degree in nursing or graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing.
- Minimum 2 years of direct patient care nursing experience.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English language.
- Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and customer service skills.
- Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing.
- Basic Life Support certification.
