We are looking for a skilled X-Ray Technologist to join our team on a 13-week contract basis. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a hospital setting and be proficient in operating X-ray equipment. You will be responsible for capturing high-quality images, ensuring accurate diagnoses, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Capturing high-quality X-ray images using various techniques and technologies.
- Maintaining accurate records of patient information, including medical history, allergies, and test results.
- Ensuring all imaging equipment is in good working order, performing routine maintenance tasks as required.
- Collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
- Providing excellent patient care, addressing any concerns or questions patients may have during their visit.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need to have:
- A degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography.
- Experience working in a hospital setting, preferably with X-ray equipment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
