Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our KidStrong Elmwood Park location. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, ensuring operational excellence, and developing high-performing teams.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in management, sales, and customer service. You will be passionate about delivering exceptional results, building strong relationships, and fostering a positive work environment.

This is a salaried position with bonus potential, offering a competitive salary range of $59,000 - $74,000 per year. Additionally, we provide a flexible schedule, paid time off, retirement plan options, and access to health insurance programs.

About the Role

As a General Manager at KidStrong Elmwood Park, you will be responsible for:
  • Leading the center's operations, including sales, marketing, and customer service.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to drive sales growth and revenue increases.
  • Mentoring and coaching staff to ensure they meet performance expectations.
  • Fostering a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages collaboration and teamwork.
  • Managing budgets, inventory, and facilities maintenance to ensure efficient operation.


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A minimum of 3+ years of management experience in a related field.
  • Proven sales and customer service skills, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, customers, and partners.
  • CPR and first aid certification (or willingness to obtain prior to starting).
