We are currently seeking a highly skilled RN for our same day surgery unit at Frye Regional Medical Center. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and make a positive impact on patient outcomes.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care before and after same-day surgery. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions of care and optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients undergoing same-day surgery or outpatient procedures.
  • Administer medications and perform clinical treatments as ordered by physicians.
  • Collaborate with other members of the care team to coordinate patient transfers, discharges, referrals, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
  • Educate patients and families on age-specific and culturally sensitive topics related to their health conditions.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Current RN license to practice in NC and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience. A comprehensive benefits package is also included, which includes medical, dental, and vision plans, HSA and 401(K) retirement plan contributions, generous Paid Time Off, and income protection programs.
