At Martin Sprocket & Gear, we're seeking a skilled Welder to join our team in Albemarle, NC. As a key member of our production team, you'll be responsible for welding metal parts and operating industrial machine tools to complete customer orders for our dynamic product line.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Weld metal parts using a MIG welding process
  • Read and comprehend instructions written in English and complete simple logs and reports in English
  • Physically able to handle heavy items including lifting, pushing, pulling, and positioning components
  • Work scheduled hours and comply with the company's timekeeping policy and all other company policies
  • Able to consistently stand for an entire shift

Requirements:

  • MIG welding experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent schooling preferred
  • Experience with grinding tools and machines preferred
  • Simple oral communication skills
  • General mechanical knowledge is a plus

Work Schedule:

  • 1st Shift, Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:00 pm
  • 2nd Shift, Sunday - Thursday 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm
  • 3rd Shift, Sunday - Thursday 11:00 pm - 7:00 am
