Community Renewal Team is seeking an experienced Education Specialist for Early Childhood Development to join our team. As an Education Specialist, you will be responsible for providing developmentally appropriate care and education for children in accordance with established principles of early childhood education.

The estimated salary for this position is $40,000 - $45,000 per year, based on the location and industry standards. However, please note that salaries can vary depending on factors such as experience and qualifications.

Job Description

This role involves working closely with families and children to create a safe and supportive learning environment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing educational programs that meet the needs of children aged 0-5 years
  • Collaborating with other educators to ensure high-quality care and education
  • Maintaining accurate records of children's progress and development
  • Communicating effectively with parents and caregivers to keep them informed about their child's progress
  • Providing guidance and support to staff members to ensure they are equipped to provide high-quality care and education

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
  • 12 credits in Early Childhood Education
  • Two-four years of experience working with children in a state-licensed program
  • Ability to work on a team, share and implement ideas and activities for intervention with children and families
  • Good oral and written skills, attention to detail and accuracy in data collection
