Job Summary

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team in the design of high voltage and extra-high voltage substations and transmission systems. As an Electrical Engineer, you will work on project teams with other electrical engineers to develop and implement electrical power systems designs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical power systems for high voltage and extra-high voltage substations and transmission systems.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure electrical power systems designs meet project requirements and specifications.
  • Develop and maintain technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models for electrical power systems.
  • Apply electrical engineering principles and techniques to solve complex problems and optimize electrical power systems designs.

Requirements:

  • BSEE or MSEE from an ABET-accredited engineering program.
  • Strong academic background and coursework in electrical power concepts/AC power systems analysis.
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam, and designation as an Engineer in Training.
  • Related engineering internship or co-op work experience.
