Key Responsibilities:
  • Care for the personal care and hygiene needs of patients in facilities such as nursing homes, assisted living facilities, rehabilitation centers, and hospitals
  • Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care
  • Assist with daily needs such as bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, eating, and nutritional intake
  • Support patients with ambulation, transfers, and range of motion exercises
  • Monitor patient vitals, intake/output, and document any changes
  • Notify supervisors of issues requiring a change in care, medication, or equipment
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 6 months of previous adult caregiving experience or completion of a CNA course (must provide professional references to verify experience or certificate of completion)
  • Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations
  • Compassionate nature, good communication skills, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs
