Job Summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary rehab team in a specialty hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have a Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy and be licensed and certified in the state of practice.

The Occupational Therapist will work with patients who have a wide range of diagnoses, including acute respiratory therapy, spinal cord injury, stroke, and traumatic brain injury. The therapist will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to help patients achieve their highest level of functionality.

The successful candidate will have strong written, oral, and interpersonal skills, as well as analytical ability to evaluate patients' occupational and functional status. They will also have excellent computer skills and the ability to process detailed information in an accurate manner.

OSF HealthCare offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including paid continuing education units, tuition reimbursement, and a 401(k) plan with a 1:1 match on the first 5% of salary. The company also qualifies for the Public Student Loan Forgiveness program.

Expected salary for this position is $44.70/hour, with actual pay determined by experience, skills, and internal equity.

Qualifications
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy
  • State license and National Board Certification Occupational Therapy registration
  • Current state driver's license for those providing Driving Evaluations
  • CPR certification within 90 days of hire
  • Previous work experience as an Occupational Therapist (preferred)
