HCA Florida Woodmont Hospital is a 317-bed acute care hospital founded in 1974, providing a wide range of surgical and medical services. As an Advanced Medical Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for running Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scanners in inpatient and/or outpatient settings.

Job Summary

The MRI Technologist role involves operating equipment to produce quality images for detecting pathology and abnormalities in patients. You will obtain consent, prepare patients, and explain the procedure to them.

  • Provide care appropriate to condition and age of the patient.
  • Determine most suitable anatomical posture/position and shield patients accordingly.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other Imaging staff as needed.
  • Practice aseptic/sterile technique for all procedures.
  • Work within the MRI Tech scope of practice according to policy and procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) or ARMRIT certification.
  • State Registered Radiologic Technician license.
  • Vocational School Graduate degree.
Compensation and Benefits
