Job Description

Job Title: Store Operations Manager

Job Summary:

Village Pantry is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Operations Manager to join our team. As a Store Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our convenience store, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise store staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality products.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and improve store profitability.
  • Monitor and control store inventory, including ordering and stocking of merchandise.
  • Ensure that the store is clean and well-maintained, meeting health and safety standards.
  • Manage store finances, including cash handling and reconciliation.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the store and its products.
  • Collaborate with the store manager to achieve business objectives and goals.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in business or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in retail management or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions quickly.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
