Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Home Health Aide/CHHA to join our team at Suncrest Home Health Services Inc in Orange County, CA. As a Home Health Aide/CHHA, you will provide assistance in daily living and personal care services to patients in their homes, following an established care plan.

Responsibilities
  • Provide health care services in patients' residences, including administering simple prescribed medications and monitoring patients' vital signs.
  • Perform domestic and household tasks, such as laundry and meal preparation, to support patients' daily needs.
  • Transport and accompany patients to doctors' offices or hospitals, ensuring safe and timely transportation.
  • Assist patients with mobility and physical therapies/exercises, promoting independence and well-being.
  • Collect routine specimens and maintain patients' care records, documenting provided services accurately.
  • Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support to patients and their families.
Requirements
  • Proven working experience as a Home Health Aide/CHHA, with a strong understanding of home health care principles and practices.
  • Ability to monitor vital signs and collect specimens, with a focus on patient safety and well-being.
  • Familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards, ensuring patients' comfort and dignity.
  • Proficiency in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Nursing and health care administration skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.
  • Caring and compassionate personality, with a strong commitment to patient satisfaction.
  • Current CPR certificate and First Aid training, with a valid driver's license.
  • High school degree, with a strong foundation in health care principles and practices.
