Job Title: CNC Intern

Crystal Group is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented CNC Intern to join our team. As a CNC Intern, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to the production of innovative products.

Job Summary:

The CNC Intern will assist in the setup and operation of CNC machines, interpret blueprints and work orders, and use precision measuring tools to ensure accurate production. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of metalworking manufacturing principles and experience with precision measuring equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate CNC machines with minimal supervision.
  • Interpret blueprints and work orders to ensure accurate production.
  • Use precision measuring tools to verify part dimensions and tolerances.
  • Clean and maintain machines, tooling, and parts to ensure optimal production conditions.
  • Follow all safety regulations and practices safety awareness at all times.
  • May be required to edit programming of machine.
  • Conforms with ESD policy and safety practices.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Six to eighteen months experience in a metalworking manufacturing environment or equivalent.
  • Experience using precision measuring equipment, gauges, and other machinist hand tools.
  • Experience programming in Mastercam or editing G-code is a plus.
Physical Demands:

The CNC Intern will be required to operate CNC machines, grinders, and other hand tools. The ability to lift and maneuver up to 50-lb. twelve-foot long aluminum bar stock is also required. The CNC Intern must be able to stand for long periods up to eight or more hours at a time and reach above head to remove stock.
