Financial Analyst

We are seeking a skilled Accountant to join our team at Your Hiring Coaches. As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Accounting Manager with various site accounting functions.

• Assist with month-end and year-end reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare and run weekly and monthly financial reports to provide insights into our company's financial performance.
• Document, enter, and post fixed assets and depreciation to maintain accurate financial records.
• Reconcile A/R, A/P, P&L, and balance sheets to identify and resolve any discrepancies.
• Prepare and verify weekly A/P payments to ensure timely and accurate processing.
• Assist with quarterly and yearly audits and year-end inventory to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Reconcile bank accounts and company credit cards to maintain accurate financial records.
• Filing J-SOX paperwork to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Utilize 10-key data entry for ERP system information input to streamline financial processes.
• Learn to be a backup team member for A/R and A/P functions to ensure seamless operations.
• Complete weekly payroll submissions and GL reporting to ensure timely and accurate processing.
• Partner with the accounting team to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
• Provide daily guidance to accounting specialists to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks.
• Communicate with team members on accounting improvements and projects to ensure collaboration and success.

• Education: An Associate's degree is preferred but not required.
• Experience: 1-2 years of similar high-volume accounting experience.
• Skills:
  • Proficiency in accounts payable, general ledger, and reconciliation.
  • Working knowledge of GAAP.
  • Ability to perform 10-key data entry.
  • Experience with MS Excel, including spreadsheets and formulas.
