About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Memorial Hermann Health System. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients achieve their maximum level of independence in occupational performance areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on evaluation results.
  • Provide direct patient care, including tests and measurements of physical, cognitive, perceptual, and/or developmental skills.
  • Document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers.
  • May assist Level II or III occupational therapists and leadership with program development.
  • Supervise assistants and rehabilitation technicians with regards to individual patient care.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or graduate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university-based Occupational therapy program.
  • Current or temporary License to practice Occupational Therapy by the Texas Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners.
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support.
