Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Skilled Care Provider to join our team at Guthrie Health. As a certified nursing assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, enabling them to function at their highest level.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work effectively as part of a skilled nursing team. Your primary responsibility will be to provide direct care to residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This includes assisting with daily activities, preparing residents for meals, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care to residents, including assistance with daily activities, meal preparation, and maintenance of a safe and clean environment.
  • Participate in team conferences and contribute to resident care planning.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of resident progress and concerns.
  • Assist in orientation of new staff members and provide input on resident care plans.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Certification, obtained within 120 days of hire through verified reciprocity or completion of a CNA training program.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand written and oral communication.
  • CPR certification.
  • Act 34 (criminal background check) clearance.
