Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
As a Respiratory Care Specialist, your primary duties will include:

  • Conducting thorough patient evaluations to identify respiratory care requirements.
  • Formulating and executing personalized respiratory care strategies.
  • Administering prescribed respiratory treatments, medications, and therapies.
  • Monitoring patient progress and adjusting care plans as necessary.
  • Providing education to patients and their families regarding respiratory management techniques.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Serving as a mentor for new staff and students in the field.
  • Being available for on-call duties as required.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Graduation from an accredited respiratory therapy program.
  • Possession of a valid Registered Respiratory Therapist credential from the NBRC.
  • Current licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
  • Certification in CPR and the ability to obtain ACLS and NRP certifications within six months.
  • Preferred certifications include PALS and Stable.

Work Schedule:
This position requires a commitment of 36 hours per week, with evening shifts and weekend rotations.

Compensation:
The pay range for this role is competitive, with additional shift differentials for evenings and weekends. A sign-on bonus and potential relocation assistance may also be available.
