Job Description

As a Field Systems Engineer at Huber & Associates, you will be responsible for providing technical support to clients in the public and private sector. You will work with a team and independently to troubleshoot technical problems, determine root cause, and advise on appropriate resolutions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical support for all computer end-user related needs, including troubleshooting desktop support, installations, and upgrades
  • Diagnosing computer hardware and software programs
  • Administering and supporting end-user technologies for a wide range of clients
  • Understanding and communicating technical information to clients
  • Installing, configuring, and maintaining end-user technologies, including mobile technologies
  • Administering and troubleshooting basic network issues, file sharing services, and adding or upgrading end-user software and configuring peripherals
  • Maintaining documentation of client issue resolution and related processes and procedures
  • Supporting common business and productivity software
  • Assisting clients with requests for technology services and engaging appropriate IT personnel via helpdesk ticketing system
  • Maintaining confidentiality with regard to client information by following sound security protocols
  • Serving as a technology advocate and embracing ever-changing technologies
