Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 am - 5 pm | Salary: $60K - $65K annually, plus milestone bonuses
The Quality Engineer will play a pivotal role in overseeing the entire construction and design initiatives of the organization. This position involves leading the construction and design teams to ensure projects are completed with excellence, adhering to timelines and budget constraints.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the Construction Project Manager to guarantee that all construction activities align with established plans and specifications from inception to completion.
- Supervise subcontractors on-site and conduct daily inspections of their work to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Perform comprehensive inspections to uphold the highest quality of subcontractor deliverables.
- Assist the Construction Project Manager in maintaining project schedules and timelines.
- Provide regular updates to the Management Team regarding project progress and any significant issues that arise.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of hands-on project experience in multi-family commercial construction.
- Thorough understanding of project plans, construction methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
- Extensive knowledge of all stages of general construction.
- Proven ability to effectively supervise at all levels and inspire subcontractors to achieve high performance standards.
- Proficient in construction-related software (e.g., Builder Trend).
- OSHA 30 Certification is required.
