Lima One Capital is seeking a dedicated Mortgage Processing Specialist to enhance our mortgage operations. This position will concentrate on administrative responsibilities that facilitate the advancement of mortgage loans from initial application to final closing. The ideal candidate will exhibit exceptional communication abilities and a keen attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and process mortgage loan applications for various investment property types.
- Prepare and organize mortgage loan documentation for approval and closing procedures.
- Maintain effective communication with both internal teams and external clients.
- Collect all necessary documentation from clients and third-party sources.
- Oversee a personal pipeline of loans, coordinating timelines and expectations with clients.
- Manage approximately 25-35 loans concurrently, encompassing both short-term and long-term products, including Single Asset deals and portfolio loans.
- Achieve a consistent closing rate of 20+ loans each month.
- Perform additional tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 1-3+ years of experience in mortgage processing.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with a focus on detail.
- Ability to adapt to evolving situations.
- Proficient in prioritizing tasks effectively.
- Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Team-oriented mindset.
