Position Responsibilities:

General Duties
  • Participate in departmental, clinic, or organizational meetings as necessary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and cardiac arrhythmia recognition in patient care.
  • Evaluate total patient care requirements during and after the administration of sedation and analgesia, including recovery.
  • Understand oxygen delivery principles and demonstrate proficiency in using oxygen delivery devices.
  • Identify potential complications associated with various sedation and analgesia agents.
  • Possess the necessary skills to assess, diagnose, and intervene in case of complications, following established protocols.
  • Demonstrate competency in airway management and resuscitation techniques appropriate for the patient's age, meeting facility standards.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
  • Valid Registered Nursing License in the relevant state(s).
Physical Demands:
  • Strength: Ability to assist with patient lifting and transferring, perform CPR, and stand for extended periods.
  • Mobility: Capable of bending, stooping, and moving quickly in confined spaces.
