We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Paraprofessional to join our team in Spokane, WA. The successful candidate will provide support to special education students in a general education classroom, assisting the lead teacher with instructional duties.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the lead teacher with instructional duties, providing support to special education students in a general education classroom.
- Provide assistance with classroom management, including supervising students and maintaining a safe learning environment.
- Support the development of individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Collaborate with the teaching staff to implement instructional strategies and techniques.
- Associate's degree or higher in a related field, or equivalent experience working with children with disabilities.
- Paraprofessional praxis exam or equivalent certification.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with students, teachers, and parents.
