About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Hospice Care team as an On-Call Nurse. This is a full-time position that requires working 7 days on, 7 days off, with a focus on providing exceptional care to our patients in the Springfield, MO area and surrounding communities.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and oversee the provision of hospice care to patients in their homes and communities.
  • Work closely with the Hospice team, physicians, and community partners to deliver optimal care.
  • Triage emergent needs and collaborate with physicians to provide comfort and quality care to each patient.
  • Communicate effectively with medical professionals, the hospice team, and others to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records and provide services in accordance with agency policies and regulations.
  • Participate in in-service programs and demonstrate strong communication and customer service skills.
Requirements
  • Hospice experience preferred.
  • Missouri Nursing License or Compact.
  • Strong organizational and self-management skills.
  • Strong and compassionate customer service skills.
  • Valid driver's license.
