We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our team in the financial software department. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC).
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the accounting team to understand financial data and software requirements
- Develop user stories and requirements for financial software projects
- Work closely with the technical team to ensure project deliverables meet business needs
- Analyze financial data using basic SQL querying and Excel skills
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a Business Analyst role, with 1+ year in an IT environment
- Basic SQL querying experience and proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables
- Accounting 101/102 level financial acumen and fluency with accounting teams
- Proficiency in creating user stories in Jira or similar tools
- Cruise line or hospitality industry experience a plus
