Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Title I Tutor to support students in grades K-5 in the core content areas. As a Tutor, you will work collaboratively with classroom teachers to provide intervention to struggling students and uphold the "Code of Ethics and Standard Practices for Texas Education."

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with classroom teachers to provide targeted support to students
Develop and maintain a positive rapport with students
Employ a variety of instructional techniques and media to accommodate student needs
Maintain accurate and complete records as required by district policy
Assist students in analyzing and improving methods and habits of study

Requirements:

High school graduate or current enrollment in a post-secondary education institution (preferred)
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Thorough knowledge of content
Ability to relate to a cross-section of people on a professional and personal basis
Flexible approach to work assignments
Must provide own transportation

Working Conditions:

Moderate standing, stooping, bending, and lifting
Ability to maintain emotional control under stress
