Position Summary:
At Norman Regional Health System, our Imaging Services department is a comprehensive Radiology unit that conducts over 200,000 examinations annually, encompassing preventive screenings, diagnostic evaluations, and interventional techniques.
We operate across multiple facilities, including hospital-based sites, emergency departments, outpatient centers, and specialized outpatient locations. Our services extend to various inpatient units and a significant number of outpatients daily.This is a pivotal moment for our department as we aim to integrate our primary care hospitals with an upgraded facility and cutting-edge equipment across all imaging modalities.
We seek enthusiastic radiologic technologists eager to join a dynamic team, with opportunities for professional growth and knowledge enhancement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting CT imaging in inpatient, outpatient, and emergency environments
- Executing radiographic procedures within the department
- Performing portable radiographic tasks in emergency and inpatient settings
- Assisting with imaging related to fluoroscopic, surgical, endoscopic, and tomographic procedures as required
- Carrying out quality assurance checks on equipment as necessary
- Delivering exceptional patient care while prioritizing safety for both patients and healthcare providers
- Collaborating with physicians and medical offices to ensure optimal patient care aligned with treatment plans

Qualifications:
Education:
~ Completion of an accredited 2 or 4-year program in Radiologic Technology recognized by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).
Experience:
~ A minimum of one year of experience as a registered radiologic technologist and/or CT technologist is preferred but not mandatory.
Licensure/Certification:
Registered Technologist with the ARRT or registry eligible, with the expectation of obtaining registration within 12 months of employment in the relevant specialty.
Basic Life Support (BLS) training or retraining is required during orientation before providing patient care.Current BLS certification must be maintained through re-training for the duration of employment (provided by NRHS).
Maintenance of Registered Technologist status throughout employment with continuing education as mandated by the accrediting body.
Compensation and Benefits:
~ Hourly wage ranges from $23.79 to $38.86 based on prior work experience.
~ Shift differentials available:
$2.50/hour for evening shifts, $3.00/hour for overnight shifts.
