Family Medicine Opportunity in Wisconsin
Cross Country Locums is seeking a Family Medicine physician to join our team in Wisconsin. As a Family Medicine physician, you will have the opportunity to work in a clinic setting, focusing on prevention and wellness, as well as evaluating, treating, and educating patients.
Job Details
- This physician will work under the supervision of a physician medical director, performing professional medical work in the history taking, examination, diagnosis, and treatment of patients.
- Responsibilities will include examining and diagnosing patients, developing treatment plans, performing testing, and referring to specialists as needed.
- The physician may also assume the role of Oversight Physician to support APPs in the system.
Requirements
- Preferred three years of ambulatory primary care practice experience; if less than 3 years, agrees to mentoring and coaching from another provider.
- Experience working with pediatric patients may be preferred depending on the HWC demographic.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, including proficiency in electronic communication.
- Experience with an EMR preferred.
- Bilingual English-Spanish preferred depending on HWC demographics.
Certifications and Licenses
- Active and unrestricted applicable licensure, with current DEA registration.
- CPR with BLS Certification.
